Welcome to The Homestead Festival FAQ page. We look forward to welcoming you to our annual event at The Homestead at Hardison Mill. Below you can find lots of detailed info.
LOCATION
The festival entrance is at 4765 Hardison Mill Road, Columbia, Tennessee. (Note, this is the backside of the farm and NOT the main entrance near Homestead Hall). We have a map you can reference at the bottom of the Festival home page.
FESTIVAL PASS INFO & PRICING

All festival passes include access to all speaking events, vendors, demonstration areas, and musical performances that are scheduled for the TWO DAY event.

You can upgrade to GA Plus and VIP Passes (as available). Please refer to the ticket page for details.

Note, festival passes are ONLY available as a TWO-DAY pass and are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE.

NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED

Festival wristbands will be provided at check-in. Passes can be purchased on the main website page at www.TheHomesteadFestival.com.

Will I be mailed a physical copy of my pass? NO. YOU WILL RECEIVE A DOWNLOAD LINK VIA EMAIL. All tickets are virtual. We will scan your downloadable tickets at the gate and provide you with a festival wristband.

Can I print my Passes? If it’s easier for you to have a physical copy on conference day, please print them off and present them at the gate.

What if I can't find my tickets/pass? Please check your junk/spam folder. This is the #1 reason why folks are not finding their original ticket confirmation email. Note, we can also look up your tickets at the gate at arrival.

The Festival will be held rain or shine - No refunds are allowed.

Where can I find the latest lineup of speakers and music lineup? Check the festival at www.TheHomesteadFestival.com or download The Homestead Festival app in the Apple App store or the Google Play store.
PARKING
-
There is no additional charge for parking.
-
Golf cart shuttles will be available for those who need them from the parking areas to the front festival entrance.

Handicap parking is available near the festival check in area.
-
VIP festival pass holders can park in a designated area closer to the entrance. VIP parking passes may NOT be purchased separately.

RV parking is available on a first come first serve basis. 50 spots are available and can be purchased on the ticket site until sold out. (Note, we are NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE sewer, electric, or water hookups. Please come prepared.). Check-in for RV Parking starts Thursday (the day before the Festival) AFTER 5 PM. Early check-in is not available.

Note, we do not allow overnight parking (except for the reserved RV parking spots), tent camping, vendor camping. No cars can be left overnight.

TIMES / GATES
-
Gates open at 7:00 am CT for parking and entering the festival. The first speaker starts at 9:00 am CT and the last speaker ends around 4:30 pm CT. The evening musical performances start around 5:00 pm and are scheduled to end at approximately 9:00 pm CT.

FOOD / VENDORS
-
A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on-site offering meals, snacks, and drinks.

Attendees will be allowed to bring their own food and beverages throughout the festival. (Note: Bags and coolers are subject to staff checks for prohibited items at will).

Tables and chairs will be available in designated areas.
-
A water station is available with free water to refill water bottles. Water bottles will also be available for sale at the merch area.

Note, alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

RESTAURANTS

There are lots of great restaurants in the area. For Downtown Columbia, head on over to VisitColumbiaTN.com to get a list of the many great dining options in the area.

Food options off of I-65, Exit 46 (Bear Creek Pike) include a Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Tequila’s Mexican Grill, Stan's Country Restaurant, and a few others.

Chapel Hill, Spring Hill, and Lewisburg are nearby communities with food options as well. (Dominos, Sonic, Brooks Grocery, etc)

Note, festival attendees are allowed to bring in their own food options, coolers, picnic baskets, etc. and food vendors are on-site (see details above)

TRAVEL INFO

The festival is held on Rory Feek’s farm known as “The Homestead at Hardison Mill” and is located in Columbia, Tennessee, just 45 mins south of Nashville.
-
The address is: 4765 Hardison Mill Road, Columbia, TN 38401 (note this is the back entrance to the farm and all traffic will be routed via Old Hardison Mill Road (not, the main gate near the Concert Hall.)).

The closest airport is the Nashville International Airport.

RV PARKING/HOOKUPS & CAMPING
We have a limited selection of RV spots for the weekend. These spots DO NOT INCLUDE sewer, electric, or water hookups. Please come prepared. Check-in for RV Parking starts Thursday AFTER 5 PM CT (the day before the Festival). Early check-in is NOT available. Check-out is Sunday morning BEFORE 11 AM CT (the day after the festival).

QUESTIONS

I have questions. Who should I contact? You can reach us by using the "contact us" form at the bottom of the home page or by emailing us at info@thehomesteadfestival.com.

Will the event be canceled or moved due to inclement weather? The event will be held rain or shine. Attendees should dress accordingly.

Can I leave the festival grounds and still get back in? Attendees with a valid wristband will be allowed to re-enter.

What is the schedule for the conference? The conference schedule will be made available about 4-6 weeks prior to the event. Be sure to follow us on social media so you get notified as soon as it’s available

How do I volunteer? Click the volunteer sign-up link at the bottom of the festival home page.

How do I become a sponsor or vendor? Please email us at info@thehomesteadfestival.com and we'll send you more info.

Will the speakers and/or musicians offer an opportunity for a meet and greet or photo opportunities? Some speakers will do so. We will include this info in the schedule section as it becomes available.

Can I bring my dog? Dogs are not allowed due to the presence of other livestock and animals on the farm. Service animals are allowed.

Will there be any on-site lockers or storage? We will not have any lockers on-site for storage. We encourage you to leave any unwanted items in locked in your vehicles or at home. A cooler will help if you have food items or purchase food items from a vendor. (The festival is not responsible for any items lost or stolen).

Will there be a place for mothers to nurse or change diapers? Yes! There will be a changing and nursing station for mothers to utilize.

Do I need to bring lawn chairs? While we will have chairs at the stage and tents, it is recommended that you bring lawn chairs for the performances in case more people come than there are chairs.

What should I wear/bring? We recommend that people consider bringing the following items:

Comfy shoes that work well in a grassy field. Water proof shoes or muck boots are handy in case of rain (or mud)

A poncho or umbrella is always handy

Extra water or refillable water bottle(s)

Sunscreen

Is there a Lost and Found? We will hold any items found or turned in at the Festival Merch booth located centrally on the Festival Grounds.

ADDITIONAL RULES​

Drugs, guns, and alcohol are PROHIBITED, and festival staff and security reserve the right to inspect bags and purses.

NO unapproved vending including the sale or resale of alcoholic beverages or drugs. Any attempt to enter with prohibited items is subject to confiscation and will be asked to leave.

NO fighting or threatening behavior. any person found fighting will be evicted from the festival without a refund.

NO disorderly or disruptive behavior.

Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be subject to a criminal investigation and immediately evicted from the event without a refund.

Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods are prohibited.
