LOCATION

The festival entrance is at 4765 Hardison Mill Road, Columbia, Tennessee. 

 

FESTIVAL PASS INFO & PRICING

  • All festival passes include access to all speaking events, vendors, demonstration areas, and musical performances. Please note they do not include the sold out VIP amenities (or exclusive Q&A sessions). That's 22 speakers + 5 musical acts included in your festival ticket! 

  • PRICING:

    • Individual Passes: $295.00 for 1 person 

    • Family Discount: Get a festival pass for 2 at $500 (that's a savings of $90!)... PLUS, kids/children 17 & under are FREE! We're making it easier to include the whole family. Note, we define “kids” as anyone 17 and under and those who make up your immediate family. Note "free kids" applies to festival pass purchases ONLY. 

    • Group Discounts: Get discounted festival passes for 5 adults at $1,000. Plus, kids 17 and under are still free (see note above regarding kids passes). 

  • Note, festival passes are ONLY available as a TWO-DAY pass and are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE.

  • Festival wrist bands will be provided at check-in. Passes can be purchased on the main website page at www.TheHomesteadFestival.com.

  • What do I get for my VIP Festival Pass? A VIP Festival Pass includes general admission access PLUS: a Q&A session with the speakers, VIP Parking, access to an air conditioned rest area with restrooms, and a VIP swag bag.

  • Will I be mailed a physical copy of my pass? No, you will not. All tickets are virtual and will be received via email to you for download. We will scan your downloadable tickets at the gate and provide you with a festival wristband. If it’s easier for you to have a physical copy on conference day, please print them off and present them at the gate. 

  • Festival will be held rain or shine     No refunds are allowed.

  

PARKING

  • There is no additional charge for parking.

  • Golf cart shuttles will be available for those who need them from the parking areas to the front festival entrance.

  • VIP festival pass holders can park in a designated area closer to the entrance. VIP parking passes may NOT be purchased separately, but one parking pass per VIP festival pass purchase will be included.

  • We do not allow overnight parking. 

 

TIMES / GATES

  • Gates open at 7:00 am CT for parking and entering the festival. The first speaker starts at 9:00 am CT and the last speaker ends at 4:30 pm CT. The evening musical performances start at 5:45 pm and are scheduled to end at approximately 9:00 pm CT.

 

COVID PROTOCOLS

  • Masks or vaccinations are not required, you are more than welcome to wear a mask if you prefer. Your body, your choice.

 

FOOD / VENDORS

  • A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on-site offering a variety of menu items. 

  • Attendees will be allowed to bring their own food and beverages throughout the festival. Note:  bags, and coolers are subject to staff checks for prohibited items at will.

  • Picnic tables will be available in designated areas.

  • The festival is held on Rory Feek’s farm known as “The Homestead at Hardison Mill” and is located in Columbia, Tennessee, just 45 mins south of Nashville.

RESTAURANTS

  • Visit one of our three family-owned cafes for Marcy Jo's: 

  • Marcy Jo's MEALHOUSE: The original cafe is only a mile away at 4205 Highway 431, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.

  • Marcy Jo's MULETOWN: If you visit downtown Columbia, check out the MULETOWN location at 105 E. 6th St. Columbia, TN 38401.

  • Marcy Jo's BAKERY: at 1340 Highway 99  Lewisburg, TN. 37091

  • There are lots of great restaurants in the area. Head on over to VisitColumbiaTN.com to get a list of the many great dining options in the area. 

  • Nearby food options: There are several other food options off of I-65, Exit 46 (Bear Creek Pike) including a Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Tequila’s Mexican Grill, Stan's Country Restaurant and others.

 

RV PARKING/HOOKUPS

  • We do NOT have RV hookups at Hardison Mill farms or at Homestead Hall. Please check out nearby places that offer this service.

QUESTIONS

  • I have questions. Who should I contact? You can reach us by using the "contact us" form at the bottom of the home page or emailing us at info@thehomesteadfestival.com.

  • Are kids really free? Yes! Kids/children 17 & under are FREE! We're making it easier to include the entire family. Note, we define “kid” as anyone 17 years of age or younger on the first day of the festival and those who make up your immediate family. The "free kids" tickets only applies to the festival entry pass and cannot be combined with other onsite purchase options available via sponsors, vendors, food vendors, etc.

  • Will the event be canceled or moved due to inclement weather? The event will be held rain or shine. Attendees should dress accordingly.

  • Can I leave the festival grounds and still get back in? Attendees with a valid wristband will be allowed to re-enter.

  • What is the schedule for the conference? The conference schedule will be made available about 4-6 weeks prior to the event. Be sure to follow us on social media so you get notified as soon as it’s available

  • How do I volunteer? Click the volunteer sign up link at the bottom of the home page.

  • How do I become a sponsor or vendor? Please email us at info@thehomesteadfestival.com and we'll send you more info. 

  • Will the speakers and/or musicians offer an opportunity for a meet and greet or photo opportunities? Some speakers will do so. We will include this info in the schedule section as it becomes available.

  • Can I bring my dog? Dogs are not allowed due to the presence of other livestock and animals on the farm. Service animals are allowed.

  • Will there be any on-site lockers or storage? We will not have any lockers on-site for storage. We encourage you to leave any unwanted items in locked in your vehicles or at home. Note, the festival is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. 

  • Will there be a place for mothers to nurse or change diapers? Yes! There will be a changing and nursing station for mothers to utilize.

  • Do I need to bring lawn chairs? While we will have chairs at the stage and tents, it is recommended that you bring lawn chairs for the performances in case more people come than there are chairs.

 

ADDITIONAL RULES

  • Drugs, guns, and alcohol are PROHIBITED, and festival staff and security reserve the right to inspect bags and purses.

  • NO unapproved vending including the sale or resale of alcoholic beverages or drugs. Any attempt to enter with prohibited items is subject to confiscation and will be asked to leave.

  • NO fighting or threatening behavior. any person found fighting will be evicted from the festival without a refund.

  • NO disorderly or disruptive behavior.

  • Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be subject to a criminal investigation and immediately evicted from the event without a refund.

  • Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods are prohibited.
